Even putting aside all the features this social media doesn't have yet, this app is not the smoothest. The good news is, updates are somewhat frequent and bugs and performance improvements are noticeable with each update. Still, even right now (late February 2024), don't expect a frictionless or super-polished experience with this app. I had it crash on me yesterday while in the middle of adding alt text to an image.

Been about 7 months and the app still has the same UI/UX issues. Now instead of fixing it, they're rolling out new features, and doing it ever so slowly like molasses. I guess ultimately all of this doesn't really matter because the app is a dull clone of Twitter minus the brainwashing and propaganda algorithms, which I appreciate, but this thing lacks any originality whatsoever. I just really don't get the point of using this app, it's not exciting in the least. "Come here to watch paint dry".

Really nice redesign UX / UI improvements. The new logo is fun, the butterfly animations are slick, and the whole experience feels a lot smoother. However, the lack of basic features like being able to save drafts (or gif support etc like other folks have said in their reviews) is really hindering me from using it more. I normally think of stuff later at night, not when I want to post it right then! Once some of these other aspects are improved I think it'll rock though. Closer to a 3.5/5
